A new event for the entire family with exhibitors, entertainers, a mouth-watering food festival, plus Victorian activities and games. Ticket price also includes full access to all of Shugborough including Mansion House, Farm, Museum, Gardens and Working Servants’ Quarters.

Panther Classic Car Rally

The original Panther Westwinds Company was set up itself in 1972 this is the annual gathering of these stylish cars of a bygone era.  Ticket price also includes full access to all of Shugborough including Mansion House, Farm, Museum, Gardens and Working Servants’ Quarters.

Family Words & Wonders Day


Super story-tellers, potty poets and comical cartoonists; events for children, adults and families, so come and join in the family fun
Words and Wonders promises to be a day packed with family-friendly fun and frolics suitable for all ages and abilities, which will spark the imagination and encourage creativity through reading, writing and drawing.

And, at Words and Wonders, not only can you and your family nurture your creative talents, you can immerse yourself in a bygone era. At the Shugborough Estate, there is a lot to see, do and experience.

• Enjoy a tasty literary treat with best-selling novelists, Judy Astley, Annie Murray and Phil Rickman
• Spend an hour getting to know Nick Butterworth's, Percy the Park Keeper through story-telling, art and role play
• Come and be enthralled by potty poet, Chris Whites' wacky characters
• Join romantic fiction writer, Phillipa Ashley as she recalls her writing career with humour
• Be creative with cartoonist, Andy Gilbert
• Be inspired by Cheshire's Poet Laureate, Jo Bell
• Get some professional advice in Jo's two workshops, Landscapes and Sense of Place
• Be entertained by professional story teller, Philip Leese
• Hone your skills with creative writing expert, Julie Hale
• Watch and learn as our experts dress Victoria, weaving the story behind the clothes (and the lady who wore them) as they go
• Learn about the history of the Shugborough Estate with Andrew Baker

On Your Marks For Little Hearts

Little Hearts Matter is a national charity that offers support and information to the children, and their families, born with a single ventricle heart condition.
This race is a 5k, 10k or 15k race to help raise money for their work .

Over 18s can run the 15k, Over 16s can run the 10k, Over 12s can run the 5k, Under 15’s can do the fun run

Times: 10.30am to 4.30pm

Participation Fees:
Adults pay £15 entry what ever the length of race 12 to 17 year olds pay £12
Teams of over ten runners will only cost £10 for each team member
Regular admission applies for entry o the Mansion House, Farm and other parts of Shugborough
